WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE?
The world food atlas, "Taste Atlas", has published a list of the 100 best traditional dishes in the world for the year 2021, where sarajevski ćevapi are in a high tenth place! Sarajevski ćevap is made from only two ingredients: ground beef and salt. It is most often served in a flatbread with finely chopped purple (or regular black) onion and sour cream.
Banjalučki ćevap in a bun is considered by many to be the most famous brand of this city. Sarajevski ćevap do not differ much from Banjalučki ćevap, except for one characteristic - sarajevski ćevapi are baked in a piece, while Banjalučki ćevapi are baked in the form of slabs of several kebabs joined together. In addition to salt, pepper and garlic are also added to Banjalučki ćevap.
Ćevapi are a favorite food in Novi Pazar. As a rule, pazarski ćevapi are eaten with onions and topped with yogurt, but you can always find your own way. Unlike the sarajevski i banjalučki ćevapi, which are made from 100% beef, the pazarski ćevap is made from 80% beef and 20% sheep meat, which gives it fat.
In addition to these three giants, there is also a specialty of our house, Karađorđe ćevap, made according to the secret recipe of our chef. A special mixture of spices, 450g of the highest quality beef, homemade cheese and prosciutto with which it is pre-filled will leave even the biggest gourmets speechless!!
